Do you want to know how to use the Bible? These two classes will be a very brief introduction to the basics about the Bible.  Bring your own Bible (New American) or purchase one for $10. Bring your teens and grandparents!

WALK THROUGH THE MASS:

Sunday (starts 10/4) 

9-10:15am 

This course will meet for 5 weeks. Each week Dr. Edward Sri will guide us through the words, gestures and rituals of the Mass which are rich in meaning. It will change how you worship and encounter God.

THE WILD GOOSE: 

Sunday (virtual) begins 10/4

The term “wild goose” is not found in the Bible but it is a traditional metaphor used by ancient Celtic Christians to describe the unpredictable and untamable nature of the Holy Spirit. Journey with Fr. Dave Pivonka on discovering a deeper relationship with the Holy Spirit. This is a 14 part series so we will cover 7 parts in the Fall and 7 during Lent.

Discovering Christ is for anyone that is curious, enjoys thought-provoking talk that is designed to explore the meaning and purpose of your life. Each evening will have an engaging video presentation followed by small group discussion. Allow the process of Discovering Christ to help you discover how you are being called to continue building His kingdom here and now.

WHEN YOU PRAY: A Clear Path to a Deeper Relationship With God  

Monday (starts 10/5)

Koinonia Room  

When You Pray meets 7 weeks and includes a familiar format for those who have been in courses facilitated by Edward Sri previously. Included in this study are session summaries, engaging discussion questions, Talk Notes for the videos and short home reading assignments.  The 30 minute videos are recorded in Italy by Dr. Sri. They provide comprehensive teaching and commentary on Catholic Prayer and invite you to engage more fully in your prayer life.

BIBLICAL WALK THROUGH MASS: 

Tuesday (starts 10/6)

Noon

Room 9

This course is a scriptural tour through the prayers, hymns and rituals of the Mass. Almost every part of the Mass finds its inspiration in Scripture. The more we understand the biblical background, the more we will be able to enter into all we do and say at Mass. No matter your age, I guarantee you will learn something new.
