MUSIC MINISTRY:

CHOIR MEMBER:  We are fortunate to have a “family” choir called, “The Good News Singers” which ministers at both the 9:00 & 11:00 a.m. Sunday Masses by rotating the two time slots throughout the year.  Choir rehearsals are on Monday evenings at 7:00-9:00 p.m.  If you like to sing and can make a commitment to a weekly rehearsal you are cordially invited to share your voice with our parish community. Contact Sheri Abel, the parish Music Director, at ext. 24 or the Parish Liturgist ext.24.

FUNERAL CHOIR:  The “New Life Singers” gather on short notice, if available, to sing for funerals.  This very powerful ministry to grieving families requires only a desire to share your time and your song when your schedule permits.  Songs and arrangements are simple with rehearsals ½ hour prior to the funeral Mass when needed.  If you are available on weekday or Saturday mornings, for even part of the year,  why not consider joining this ministry?

 CANTOR:  This ministry requires specialized vocal skills and an appreciable amount of training, which we are glad to provide.  People interested in this ministry are welcome to make an appointment with the parish liturgist for an interview and further information.

 INSTRUMENTALIST:  If you are a skilled instrumentalist and are interested in sharing your talent with the parish, you are welcome to make an appointment with the Parish Liturgist for an interview and further information.
