GARDEN CLUB:
Our Garden Club is comprised of volunteers who come
together
each spring
at a brief organizational and social meeting and agree
to tend individual plots or gardens surrounding our
parish buildings. Each gardener makes their own
decision on the type of flowers and their arrangement.
They then prepare the ground, fertilize their plot,
pickup and plant the flowers. Throughout the summer,
twice weekly or as needed, they weed and water. In the
fall the beds are cleaned up and topped off with
mushroom mulch to wait out the winter. All this effort
produces a parish landscape that is as colorful as an
artists palette. Parish gardeners see this service as a
blessing for the Church of the Holy Ghost. Anyone
