GENERATIONS OF FAITH: This is an approach to faith formation that equips the entire parish to become a learning community by promoting lifelong faith-building formation experiences. The parish hosts four Generations of Faith sessions each year. The formation sessions are centered in the events of Church life and they embrace all ages and generations.

The sessions include a family style meal, an interactive program, prayer, faith sharing, and a take home kit of resource materials. 

 The in-depth formation component helps everyone to explore the meaning various topics through age-specific learning groups. The session topics help to transform the individual, family, and ultimately, the entire parish community by preparing them to come and celebrate a specific Church event with deeper theological comprehensions. 

In this approach, the recipient of catechesis is the whole Christian community and every person in it.  This comprehensive faith formation program promotes knowledge of our Catholic faith, liturgical education, moral development, discipleship, and a community culture of learning.

GOF equips the faithful to serve others and evangelize because it prepares Catholic households to carry the “Good News” into their homes, jobs, neighborhoods, & the world.
