PARISH COUNCIL

Our Parish Council is made up of the Pastor and six or more parishioner volunteers appointed by him.  The council mission is as follows:

Called together in the name of Jesus and guided by the Holy Spirit, Holy Ghost Parish Council discerns the desires of God for the community of Holy Ghost.

Through the process of discernment, the Holy Ghost Parish Council humbly listens to the Word of God, actively reflects on the contemporary life of the Church and expectantly watches for God’s action in the parish community.

Holy Ghost Parish Council is called to articulate what God is calling Holy Ghost parish community to be.

 Holy Ghost Parish Council, together with the parish pastoral staff and parish ministry commissions, assumes four responsibilities on behalf of the Holy Ghost parish community.  The four responsibilities are divided among the following commissions:  Christian Worship, Christian Service, Christian Education and Christian Administration
