SERVICE COMMISSION 

Mission -- The Holy Ghost Service Commission, through discernment of the will of God, unites and coordinates people of Holy Ghost Parish to bear witness to His love by performing spiritual and corporal works of mercy through active Christian service.  Through faith, prayer, and good works, the Service Commission and the service groups dedicate themselves to support and serve the people of God.  

Service Commission Responsibilities -- The Holy Ghost Service Commission, in cooperation with the Parish Council and the parish pastoral staff, assumes responsibility for overseeing the operation of the service groups that function in the parish.  The Commission acknowledges that there are spiritual and corporal works of mercy being performed by and through other parish ministries as well as individual parishioners. The Holy Ghost Service Commission is accountable for listening to and communicating with the parish community about the spiritual and corporal needs of the parish.
